Wild and Running CH:7

Ashley's POV

I rubbed the part of my arm where Andy had just punched me, Damn he punches hard. I sort of laughed it off. Although I keep a happy look on my face, my thoughts are racing faster than ever before, I can barely comprehend what is in my mind at the moment. I look over to Rem's friend's bed, she's asleep, her eyes fluttered closed. I'm worried, all I can think about is losing her, that she might never wake up. What if she never wakes up, what if i lose her, so many what if's. Although I only met her a couple hours ago and for 30 short minutes, when I look at her, I feel something, something different then when I was with all the other girls i've been with.
"Yo Ashley, snap out of it man." someone says bringing me back to reality.
I look up and see CC waving his hand in my face. "Hello? Is anyone in there?" he says once again this time hitting the back of my head.
"Ow Jesus CC what the hell?" I say rubbing the back of my head.
I look back again at Rem, her eyes are red and puffy, like she's been crying.
"Say Rem, what's your friend's name?" I ask trying not to sound to obvious on how worried I am.
She sniffles a little, like she's about to start crying again at any moment. "Kaila, her name's Kaila."
Kaila, what a beautiful name.
"Jake,CC, go find a doctor and tell them that Rem is awake." says Andy to Jake and CC.
They respond with a nod of their heads and the two walk out of the room.
I hope those two can get a doctor soon and without fooling around. I look back at Kaila, her skin, clean of all the make-up, flawless and beautiful, like a flower. Her hair falling just right over her face, she looks beautiful. Why would someone try and end a person as beautiful as her's life? What would drive someone to have such hatred towards someone? How could someone try to damage someone and then leave them for dead? Who could of done this?
