Wild and Running CH:19

        Jinxx's POV

"Guys, come on!!" I hear Ashley yell to us
We all run onto the bus as fast as we can. I walk on and see Rem sitting on the couch, just hugging her knees to her chest, her head down in her arms. I can hear her sniffling a bit as well. Kaila sits next to her and wraps her arms around Rem tightly, whispering sootheing things to her, like 'it's okay', and 'everything's fine, don't worry'.
"Rem, Andy's gonna be fine, don't wor-" Jake says, attempting to rub Rem's shoulder, biut as soon as his hand touches her, she shrugs it away.
I take my seat on the other couch, Jake sits on one of the bean bags and Ashley stands next to Kaila and Rem. As soon as he sets foot on the bus, CC runs to the front and starts it. The bus lurches forward quickly, causing the girls to almost fall off.
As Rem readjusts herself, I see a small amount of white wrapped around her wrist, bandages? Oh Rem, please tell me you didn't. She soon realizes and pulls the jacket sleeve over them.
     (5-10 minutes later)

We finally arrive at the hospital. I look out the window and see the ambulance unloading Andy. CC parks as fast as he can and runs off the bus, Jake follows close behind him. I wait till everyone except Rem and I are off the bus, I want to talk to her, alone.
"Rem, we need to talk." I say approching her.
"Not now Jinxx, I need to go see Andy." Shes says getting up from the couch.
"We will, just hold on, This is really important."
"Jinxx, please move, we'll talk later." She says trying to push her way past me.
As she trys to move me, the sleeve of her jacket rolls back, revealing the bandages once more. I look at her with sad eyes.
"Oh Rem, please tell me you didn't, what are those?"
She looks down and quickly pulls the sleeve over them once again.
"Nothing." She says pushing by me and out the door
"Rem, you need to stop this, you don't know what harm you're causing yourself." I say following her out the door.
"It's my body, I can do what ever I want!!" She yells defensively back at me.
I can see that this is beginning to go in a direction I had hoped it wouldn't.
"What would Andy and everyone else say if they knew what you were doing?"
She stops and turns around to look at me.
"He's not going to find out, and neither is anyone else!" She yells back at me.
Great, she's become even more defensive, i've made matters worse, but this may be the only way to stop her from inflicting self harm, it's worth a shot.
"Keep this up and they will!"
"You wouldn't. Please Jinxx." Saddness begins to overcome the look in her eyes "Please."
"Then stop." I say trying to get her to clam down.
"Fine."

   Ashley's POV

"Then stop." I hear Jinxx say to someone.
"Fine."
I see Rem walk off and head to the enterance of the hospital.
I walk up to Jinxx who is still standing there, worry present in his eyes.
"What was that all about?" I ask him, hoping that he doesn't know.
"Rem's cutting again, I know, I saw the bandages."
Oh crap, he knows.
"I know she's been cutting again," I look down a little. "I put those bandages on her."
I look up from the ground and see an angered expression present on his face.
"You knew and didn't stop her!!!" He yells at me. "This is serious man."
"Look, calm down Jinxx, it's not like I watched Rem cut herself. I found her crying and singing Savior in the bathroom when I went to go clean the blood off my face after he father had hit me. Her wrist was already cut by the time I had found her, okay?" I say trying to calm him down.
He takes a deep breath and looks at me.
"I think the others should know."
"I know that, but I promised Rem that I wouldn't tell anyone, and that goes for you to. She promised me that she would stop and I believe her, but I told her that if she doesn't, that I would tell the others so they could intervene."
There's a moment's hesitation before anyone says anything. I could see that he was thinking it over.
"Fine," He finally says "But I still think the others should know, for her sake."
"I know, but I think she'll stop, I trust her."
Jinxx nods his head, but says nothing more.
"Well, let's go see how Andy's doing." I say, breaking the scilence.
Jinxx nods his head again and we begin walking to the hospital enterance.
