Fallen CH: 7

-Shadow's POV-

As he finished writing his digits on my arm, my heart couldn't help but almost beat out of my chest. I could feel my face begin to become redder and warmer by the second. We hugged one last time, and I ran off. I knew what was going to be waiting for me back home, either a sober mom begging me to forgive her or a drunken one that would continue beating me in. As I made my way onto the darkened road I saw a house with light on, oh shit, she's still awake.
I saw all the fresh bottles in the car, and some opened cartons. As I made my way into the house I was greeted by a wide awake mom that looked like she was drunk. She came closer to me the I felt a slap on my face,
"Where the hell did you run off to?" She yells at me
my cheek stung for a moment, I didn't say anything, which was probably one of the worst decisions I have ever made.
"Answer me when I ask you a question!!!" She yells at me as another slap comes across my face.
I try with all my might to hold my tears back, but some escape and fall from my eyes, which was worst then not saying anything. Quickly I escape to my room and lock the door, my tears begin to flow uncontrollably and I cry into my pillow. Suddenly, I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, it's CC

As I heard clobbering up the stairs and I a loud banging on the door as I went to answer the phone as I dropped it, by accident to the floor. As I quickly picked it up again I answered it trying to hold back my mow free flowing tears as I was talking with CC holding back tears when mom yelled something through the door.
"Did you go see that satanic band that cares more for money than fans that do screamo?" She yells through the door and I'm pretty sure CC heard it all. I had to counter back with something.
"They're not satanic and they helped me through a lot. Too bad you don't understand that. They care more about people than you ever will. You're the main middle reason why life is so bad here. You hate me at least Dad would've tried to understand."
"Shut up you bitch!!!" Mom yells as her hand connects with my face once again.
"Shadow? Shadow!!!" I hear CC yell from the phone. "Shadow, tell me where you are and I'll come and get you!"
I panic as I look at the phone. My mom looks at me with evil in her soulless eyes
"Who is that?" She asks angrily
I don't answer quickly enough and this time she punches me, causing my nose to bleed.
"I'm at 82 Hummingbird ave." Is all I can yell out.
"Shadow- "My mother crushes my phone with her foot before CC can finish his sentence.

I had more tears rushing down my face as I went to get the phone but my mother punched me in my stomach again as I fell to the ground holding my stomach again.
"Tell me who it was."
"No! I not going to tell you."
I said coughing out blood as she kept kicking me. This was going to leave me really bruised later.

CC's POV

I had to call Shadow, I just wanted to talk with her again, just to hear her voice and to make sure she had made it home safely.
I dialed her number. The phone rang for a couple of seconds and by the third ring, she picked up. As she began to talk, I notice that she is on the verge of tears, trying to hold them back.
"Shadow, what's wrong?" I ask, worried.
But before she can answer, I her loud thumps coming up what I believe to be stairs on the other end. Everything that happened on the other end flashed by so quickly that even I had trouble keeping up. Then as I heard a noise probably a fist connecting with skin, but who knew as I asked where she was and I'd get her. I heard her yelling back saying,
"82 Hummingbird Ave."
I knew where that was. I grew up in that street but who knew as I called her name through the phone but it was quickly cut off.
"Shadow? SHADOW!!!!" I yell into the now disconnected phone line.
I say nothing and run to the door.
"CC, what the hell man? What's going on, you look like you just saw a ghost." Andy yell as we run onto the bus.
"No time to explain, we just need to go, now."
All the guys jump onto the bus and I start the engine up as fast as I could. I drove like a mad man to her house wanting to get to her to know if she was okay. What was happening at home? Why did her phone suddenly disconnect? I needed to get there ASAP. No matter what it took. Soon we arrived at her house as I raced inside unaware of the dangers as I heard screaming from upstairs.
