After we finish explaining to the doctor, the only expression on his face was shock, that's all there was. Shadow begins to turn her head, and even though she is asleep, I can see that every time she moves she feels the pain of her wounds. As she finally settles tucked close to my body, I brush some of her hair away from her face and gently pet her head.
"Well," The doctor began "We're going to have to look further into this. But I'm afraid that she will have to stay here just a bit longer. I'll leave you all alone now."
The doctor then walks out of the room and we all look at each other in concern.

I try with all my might to keep myself from bursting out into laughter. I open my eyes slightly when I am sure that Jake and Ashley won't notice, and I see that Andy is struggling to do the same. I begin to hear stirring amongst the others as Jake and Ashley are practically trashing the whole bus.
"You think we should tell them?" I ask Andy in a voice only auditable to the two of us, still hearing the rummaging behind me.
"Naw let them go for a little bit more, this is quite funny." Andy whispers back, shaking his head a little.
I look at him with a small amount of concern, but that feeling quickly disappears.
